Threats of an Empty Mailbox...

Birthday presents, online shopping orders, bills and letters may all be delayed if Canada's unionized postal workers go through with their threatened strike. All 45000 postal workers are planning to walk off the job, starting this Friday at 12:01 am, the first strike since 1997's two week long period.
When the previous agreement (which covered over 50 000 postal employees) expired this past January, many workers began demanding wage changes, benefits, staffing levels and a change in working conditions.
Currently negotiations are being made, but a strike is still possible, until a collective agreement is established.
